  1. Can non EU exhibitors exhibit?

    *** Although Overseas exhibitors are welcome to exhibit at Showcase Ireland all products must be guaranteed Irish or of EU origin by the Exhibitor ***

    Where an exhibitor persists in showing items not of EU origin the organisers reserve the right to close down the stand and refuse the Exhibitor further admission to the Exhibition. In such an event the exhibitor will not be entitled to any refund or compensation for damages, costs or losses incurred by the exhibitor.

    Overseas exhibitors are welcome to exhibit at any of our events, however, the organisers would advise that you must obtain your visa in advance of booking your stand. We recommend that anybody wishing to exhibit at the event who requires a visa or other travel papers should contact the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs or the nearest Irish embassy or consular office in their country of residence.

  2. How can non-Republic of Ireland Exhibitors reclaim VAT on their stand cost?

    Showcase Ireland Events Ltd has formed a partnership with a dedicated VAT reclaim company, VAT Alliance. VAT Alliance can reclaim the Irish VAT on behalf of non-Republic of Ireland exhibitors and will carry out all stages of the refund for these exhibitors.   3. How do I book a stand?

    To book a stand you will need to get in touch with the sales team looking after the show. For Showcase direct all stand booking enquiries to John Hick - Group Sales Manager.

  4. What is the difference between space only and shell scheme stands?

    If you book a space only stand that is all you get "the space". If you book a shell stand this will include the walls, a minimum of 2 spotlights (1 spotlight per 6sqm ) carpet and Fascia panels.

  5. Where can I find my stand number?

    Your stand number is located on your booking form. If you have misplaced your booking form your stand number is also available in the exhibitor lists on the shows website.

  6. When can I set up my stand?

  7. When will my shell scheme be ready?

    To be confirmed.

  8. How many walls do I get with my shell scheme?

    The amount of walls you get depends on where your stand is located. All shell stands get a back wall and partition walls are only provided to sub-divide stands.

  9. Can I change the walls?

    Any walls required on any frontage must be arranged with your shell scheme contractor and will be charged for. If you want to change your walls you should contact WDisplay on +353 (0)1 456 1044.

  10. What is the height of the stand?

    • Height - Floor to top of fascia 2.5m. Floor to underside of fascia 2.43m.
    • Walling - Wall panels are 2.5m x 1m wide (nominal) painted white and framed with aluminium upright posts either side and 70mm rails top and bottom.

  11. What kind of walls are used on the stands?

    The shell walls are made of Octanorn.

  12. How many spotlights do I have on my stand?

    Shell stands get 1 spotlights per 6 sqm with a minimum of 2.

  13. Can I put things on the wall, what can I use to stick them on the wall and do I have to take them down afterwards?

    Displays can be attached by use of double side tape, Velcro or pads. No alterations to the shell scheme will be permitted without prior agreement with Woodcraft Displays. All exhibitor material should be removed from walls, fascia counters, lockable and unlockable storage areas as soon as possible after the show closes.

  14. Are there any restrictions regarding the use of construction materials?

    Do not paint, nail, screw or staple anything into the shell scheme system.

  15. Does a space only stand include carpet?

    At Showcase Ireland - Yes.

  16. When can the stand be dismantled?

    Stands should be dismantled as soon as possible after the show closes.

  17. What are the carpet colours?

    To be confirmed.

  18. How many stand executive/exhibitor name badges do I receive?

    A reasonable amount of Exhibitor badges is supplied depending on stand size.

  19. Where/when do I receive my exhibitor badges?

    Exhibitor Badges are collected in the organizers office at the venue.
