Who can attend the show?
Showcase Ireland is a trade only event, requiring trade id - no children under 16 or buggies are allowed at trade only shows.
Non EU visitors?
Visitors from outside the European Union - as event organisers, Showcase Ireland Events Ltd is not in a position to extend "official" letters of invitation or to accept responsibility for visitors' travel or accommodation requirements. We will gladly accept registrations for the conference or exhibitions from overseas visitors, but we are prohibited from giving any form of guarantee on behalf of attendees. We recommend that anybody visiting the event who requires a visa or other travel papers should contact the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs or the nearest Irish embassy or consular office in their country of residence.
Invitation letters to support visa applications?
Showcase Ireland Events Ltd does not support visa application nor do we provide invitation letters. The only documentation received from Expo Events Ltd. is an email confirmation if using our online registration system and your exhibition badge which is sent out approx. 2 weeks prior to the exhibition. Visa enquiries are to be made to the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs or the nearest Irish embassy.
How do I attend one of the shows?
There are 2 ways to pre-register for a show.
- By fax on headed paper or online.
- Alternatively you can register at the registration desk at the venue. If you are not pre-registered for Showcase Ireland there is an admission charge of €20. Admission for all pre-registered visitors is free.
What are the advantages of pre-registering?
By pre-registering you will benefit from a fast track entry, you will receive a free show preview & free admission and will also receive the shows eZines and newsletters.
How do I pre-register?

Do I need to pre-register my colleague who will be attending with me?
Yes, each individual attending the show will require his/her own exhibition badge.
I received 2 badges one for myself and one for my colleague who will not be attending. Can I give this to another member of staff who would like to attend?
This badge should be returned to Expo Events Ltd. so we can clean our database and ensure it doesn't get sent again. It can not be used for another colleague, any colleague who would like to attend will also need to pre-register.
I received a visitor/buyer badge for a colleague that no longer works here, can I use this to attend the show myself?
You will not be able to use this badge to attend this show. You will need to return this badge to Expo Events Ltd. along with the correct details so we can amend our database and send you out a new badge
If I have not pre-registered can I attend the show?
If you have not pre-registered you can still attend the show by registering at the door with one of our registration staff.
Is there a cost of entry if I have not pre-registered?
If you have not pre-registered there will be a cost of entry of €20 and trade identification is required at the door.
I have pre-registered but have lost / didn't receive my badge, can I register again at the door?
If you have already registered you do not need to pre-register again. Inform the registration staff at the door that you have already pre-registered and they will be able to print your badge out again for you.
Can a member of the public attend the show?
Members of the public are not permitted to attend any trade exhibition.
I am starting up a business, can I attend the show?
Provided you can provide some trade id to prove you are starting up a business such as your VAT number, business card, cheque book there will be no problems in attending the show
When will I receive my exhibition ticket/badge?
Exhibition badges are sent out to visitors/buyers approximately 2 weeks prior to the show.
Can I bring my child with me to attend the show?
Trade shows are strictly for trade buyers only. No children or buggies will be allowed in to the show.
Is there wheelchair access to the venue?
There is full wheelchair access in the RDS and a lift facility to access the main restaurant.
What restaurant/ café facilities are at the venue?
Full venue facilities are listed on the RDS website.
Where can I get a list of exhibitors?
A full list of exhibitors is available on the show website along with the company's email address and website address where it has been provided to us. There are also printable versions of the exhibitor lists on the shows website.
I am unable to attend the show, how can I receive a show catalogue?
