Breda O'Flaherty Studio was founded in 2022, first as a side-line business, however, after redundancy in April 2024, I decided to pursue a long, held desire to be a professional artist. I am a visual artist, creating art inspired by the landscapes, derelict buildings, and wildlife of Ireland. my work is primarily in pastels and acrylics. sometimes mixed media. My paintings and drawings are filled with colour and feeling. Expressing the joy I feel when I paint them. Originally from Dublin, I now live and work in Virginia, Co. Cavan. I'm loving my new live in this beautiful part of the world. I love exploring it and finding little gems to photo and paint.
