Maureen O’Neill | Contemporary Irish Artist
Original Art · Fine Art Prints · Art Cards
Based on the west coast of Ireland, Maureen O’Neill is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the relationship between landscape, memory and our sense of place.
Working primarily in oil, ink and mixed media, Maureen creates expressive, semi-abstract paintings inspired by the shifting terrain of the Irish west. Her work moves beyond traditional landscape painting, capturing something less tangible — the marks of time, the quiet beauty of familiar places and the changing relationship between people and the natural world.
Layered surfaces, restrained earthy palettes and gestural mark-making give her paintings a distinctive visual language. Each piece invites the viewer to discover something personal within the landscape.
A graduate of Fine Art, Art & Design and Heritage Studies, Maureen has exhibited her work in Ireland and internationally, including exhibitions in France and the United States.
Her growing collection of fine art prints and art cards brings this artistic practice into beautifully considered, accessible formats, allowing collectors and art lovers to enjoy contemporary Irish art in their homes and everyday lives.
Rooted in place. Shaped by experience. Made to be lived with.
