Jack Murphy began his career specialising in corsetry. Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1922, he like many at the time, served in WWII. After returning from the war, he started up his own niche corsetry business. With this expert knowledge of garment structure and taking inspiration from the outdoor functional military attire into consideration, soon the Jack Murphy brand was born. Jack was a family man; today his son Michael, and granddaughter Sarah are continuing on his elegant legacy.
