Kate lives with her husband and twin boys in Westport, Co. Mayo. It is here along with the views on the wild atlantic way where the inspiration for her art comes from. Like many during the pandemic Kate took up fluid art as a hobbie. In 2024 she was asked to sell her work in a local craft shop and she now supplies to 5 shops and attends local seasonal craft fairs. She paints on ceramic, canvas and wood. All pieces come in white wood box frames. She started making the art jewellery when she wanted to use up the run off paint from the art pieces instead of wasting it. All the jewellery is hypoallergenic tarnish resistant stainless steel or silver plated. They include earrings, pendants and bracelets. She also makes prints of some of her favourite pieces of art. Kate has worked as a Holistic Therapist for many years and all her art and jewellery is made with the intention to bring calm and joy to the owner.
