Linda Proudfoot is an Irish artist living and working in Dublin. "My work reflects the wonderful Irish landscape where I grew up . The landscape is where I feel most at home, and painting is my way of staying connected to it.
The ever changing weather, the shifting light, the soft rain ,sea breezes these small, everyday things inspire me. They remind me of who I am and where I come from.
With each piece, I try to paint the feeling of belonging, of returning, of knowing the land as if it were an old friend. My work is a reflection of the place, nature and wild landscape that shaped me."
