Set between the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Coast, MAMO is a family studio led by a mother, daughter, and son, crafting everything by hand. Born from loss and rebuilding, MAMO grew from one family’s way of healing into a studio rooted in care and quiet strength.
Darina, a Food Engineer and Chemist with over forty years’ experience in food science and cosmetics, leads formulation and research — blending foraged herbs, Irish honey, clays, and natural loofahs into every soap.
Gergana, drawing on a background in business strategy and wellness, shapes MAMO’s creative direction and storytelling. Niko manages production and handcrafts the wooden moulds that give each piece its form.
The name MAMO means calling for your mother when you need her — a word of comfort, warmth, and home. That feeling guides everything the studio creates.
Each collection reflects the belief that care — for ourselves, our homes, and our companions — is deeply healing. Every detail, from the affirmation-style names to the handwritten notes inside each box, is a reminder that healing lives in the small acts of care.
