Rita Oates Artist is a contemporary Irish art brand offering fine art prints, greeting cards and designer scarves, all rooted in original artwork created in Roscommon.

Rita’s work is thoughtful and uplifting, combining subtle imagery with positive words of hope and encouragement. Each piece follows her signature approach of image, line and story, creating meaningful artwork that connects emotionally and supports wellbeing.

Rita is an award-winning Irish artist and designer, inspired by nature, everyday moments and the resilience of the human spirit. Her fine art prints are available in four sizes, as canvas pieces, and as a growing range of limited-edition prints. Rita also accepts commissions for original artwork and has exhibited nationwide, including at Art Source in the RDS.

All greeting cards and fine art prints are designed and produced in Roscommon in her own studio

Rita’s As Gaeilge collection has grown into a complete Irish-language range of Irish-designed and Irish-made greeting cards and fine art prints . Covering all key occasions—including birthdays, sympathy, thank you and thinking of you—the collection was created in response to a growing desire to honour and celebrate Ireland’s native language, offering customers a meaningful and artistic way to connect through Gaeilge.

Sustainability is integral to the brand. Greeting cards are printed on FSC-approved paper, timber frames are used in place of plastic, and all packaging is recyclable.

Rita Oates Artist is created for customers seeking a distinctive, meaningful Irish-designed gift, combining craftsmanship, story and positive intention.
