Snugz – Building Confidence Through Connection Snugz was founded by mums Fiona Synnott and Lisa Gilmartin to support children’s emotional wellbeing through the magic of storytelling and play. With backgrounds in education, childcare, and therapeutic play, we’ve seen firsthand how books and toys can unlock conversations that help children feel safe, confident, and connected. Our debut title, Different is Magic – Jimbow’s Journey, was developed in consultation with Clinical Psychologist Dr. Clíona Cosgrave and endorsed by play therapists. The story celebrates individuality and self-acceptance, accompanied by Jimbow the plush companion and a beautifully designed bedtime gift box that doubles as Jimbow’s bed. This title is already in libraries across Dublin and in select retailers, and our exclusive Snugz book-and-teddy combo will launch in Smyths Toys this November. Following this success, we are launching The Magic Net – Debbie’s Journey in October 2025, a gentle story about managing worries using simple, child-friendly techniques. Snugz is building a growing range of therapeutic storybooks and play-based tools that support children’s emotional resilience. Our vision is simple: to help families everywhere create small, magical moments that make big differences in children’s lives.
