Home Comforts at Showcase

If there is anything that the pandemic has taught us over the past two years it’s that our homes are our sanctuaries. Our home environment has taken on even more resonance as people have been spending more time at home - living, working and entertaining.

In her recent interview for the Showcase website, Doris Doris Barsauskas, Proprietor of MacKimmie Co., says that the ‘business of home’ trend that has been exploding in the past two years will continue. “Everything related to the home, comfort and wellness industries has grown. We have seen sales increase in home accessories, apparel suitable for outdoor activities and casual dressing as well as wellness and self care products,” she says. “People are spending more time at home - both working and living. It’s never been more important that their homes are comfortable, functional and inviting.”

From textiles to pottery, art prints to tableware we’ve rounded up just some of the brands at Showcase this weekend creating beautiful and functional items for the home.
