Six wellness brands your customers will love

Producing everything from handmade soap and incense to skincare and sleep products, here we introduce you to six Irish wellness brands.

Established by Dublin herbalist, forager and skincare maker Feebee Foran, Forager is a new Irish skincare brand inspired by the wild flowers which grow along the banks of the river Dodder in Dublin.

Foran makes her natural skin-loving balms and creams from ingredients such as Daisy, Chickweed, Yarrow and Lesser Celandine - plants which grow in abundance in both rural and urban settings but which are often overlooked as weeds.

Using natural ingredients, Foran is keen to offer relief from ailments including psoriasis, eczema, headaches, arthritic pain and period pains with the help of wild herbs and organic ingredients.
Favourite products include her ‘Belly Balm’ to aid with period pains, her ‘Gardner’s Glove’ hand cream and her ‘Hot Stuff’ salve with wintergreen.

Be Kind Industries

Be Kind Industries

While electric oil diffusers and scented candles have been leading the charge in home scents in recent years, we’ve also spotted a return to some classic products including wax melts, good old fashioned candle diffusers and incense - a product that has been used in many public and private spaces particularly in Asia for thousands of years. The last time we saw incense in mainstream stores was the 90s and we’re delighted to see that, just like flared jeans, incense is trending again.

Established during the Covid-19 lockdown, Be Kind Industries is on a mission to promote and encourage wellbeing and a positive mindset through its range of incense products created using natural and ethical ingredients.

Inspired by the Garden of Ireland, Co. Wicklow, the brand’s range of incense products includes the ‘Vartry’, ‘Avoca’, ‘Lough Tay’ and ‘Djouce Woods’ - each stick hand rolled, chemical free and beautifully packaged.

Oxmantown Skincare

Established by Amy Cahill, Oxmantown Skincare is an established brand which makes small batch, cruelty-free skincare by hand in Stoneybatter - one of Dublin’s coolest neighbourhoods.

Cahill has spent several years honing her formulations and packaging so that her products not only do what they’re supposed to do but also look great in any setting.

The Oxmantown range includes a wide variety of products including balms, oils, creams, mists and masks for the face, butters, polishes, lotions and washes for the body, perfume oils and products designed specifically with men’s skin in mind.

A favourite with customers are the specially curated gift boxes including the Citrus Hand Care Kit and the Hydration Heroes kit which come in a smart yet understated recyclable gift box.

Pure Oskar

Pure Oskar

Pure Oskar is a family run, Irish skincare brand specialising in ethical, natural, high-end soaps, luxury soy wax candles and wellness products. The soaps are all handmade in their workshop in the Curragh in Co. Kildare.

Inspired by her son Oskar who was sensitive to mass produced skincare products as a baby, Magdalena Seymour creates natural products that do not contain the chemicals and parabens many other so-called ‘natural’ products contain.

Sustainability is a core value of the Pure Oskar brand which strives to minimise its environmental impact - employing eco-friendly work practices and a zero waste policy. The brand is cruelty free and vegan friendly and partners only with vegan friendly suppliers.

Pure Oskar products have a high glycerin content and contain only natural ingredients. Favourite products include their Pure Heaven soap for face and body which is a moisturising product made with honey for busy people and their cute Curragh Sheep shaped soap which is currently to be found grazing in over 50 stockists across Ireland, Canada and the US as well as at the 5 Star Conrad Hotel in Dublin.

deDanu cbd

Established less than three years ago, the deDANÚ brand has quickly gained a following, as well as several awards, for its products which are made under strict guidelines in a pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing facility in the Irish midlands.

Brand founder Leah Fletcher is right on trend with her products which are made from certified organic, cruelty free, synthetic free ingredients however with the boom in interest in the benefits of CBD she is certainly one to watch. Her Remedy Skincare collection is developed using laboratory grade, pure cannabidiol (CBD) and includes a face cream, a skin salve and a hand cream.
