Hidden Oasis is a one-of-a-kind contemporary nature artwork created from reclaimed yew wood and resin, inspired by the resilience and interconnectedness of natural ecosystems.
The work brings together ancient, weathered timber with a vibrant hidden landscape, creating a moment suspended in time. The contrast between the enduring wood and the delicate ecosystem within it reflects nature's ability to survive, adapt and regenerate.
At the heart of the piece is the idea that even within what appears forgotten or lifeless, there can be extraordinary beauty, movement and renewal.
Hidden Oasis invites the viewer to pause and look more closely at the unseen worlds that exist within nature.
Created by Irish contemporary nature artist Michelle Hennigan, the work reflects her wider practice of exploring the relationship between the natural world and the human experience.
