Created in collaboration with the National Museum of Ireland to mark the 1000th anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf, the collection honours the fierce elegance of Ireland’s warrior queens; women of courage, grace, and sovereignty, celebrated in both myth and memory.
Meaning “Woman King” in Irish, the Bean Rí design takes inspiration from Bronze Age spearheads in the Museum’s collection. Martina reimagines these ancient forms with a graceful quarter twist and a textured surface, transforming the primal force of weaponry into a radiant expression of femininity.
Each piece captures and reflects light like the flicker of a candle flame; a symbol of passion, resilience, and timeless beauty.
